I hope Paul makes it as well!   I would bring it, but I seem to have lost it, I think I left it somewhere about 10-15 years ago Sad
Looking forward to seeing you Satuday,

Take Care,
Nelson.

You've apparently confused me with one of those hard-chargin' racer bents.  I have an abnormal (probably) fear of racing--or, more to the point, crashing--but I've learned to never say never.  Still, even if I don't race, I imagine I could come out some time to meet Mrs. DB and watch the fast guys pedal their... selves around the course.

This weekend wouldn't have worked, even if I'd been feeling froggy.  Due to work demands, I haven't even been on a bike in two weeks.  I had to ride with the shorter-distance, slower group this morning, but at least I got to ride.

Good thing about time trials....low crash risk, since you should never be close to another rider...

Bad thing about time trials....not really a spectator sport.  You see 'em leave and then you see 'em the last 1K coming over the rollers, if you are lucky.

Greg and Nelson put on a good show and had people all excited..."here comes the other one!"

And they went away with some RBM gift cards Smiley

I've ridden with Nelson (once), and he'll definitely get your heart rate up, one way or another.  I'm thinking of a particular quarter-mile(?) sprint up Hwy. 121, last year.  We'd gotten separated from the rest of the group, spotted them as they crossed 121 at Lake Forest, and sprinted to catch them.

I thought, I'm riding the same kind of bike as he is; I'll be able to keep up.

As if.   Grin
