Also I take lousy photos on the Giro.  Too much asphalt.

Riiight.  Photographer's phalt, more like.  Grin

This is a very flat course,1 slight hill at mile 15 or so. Perfect for the Giro!!

I was remembering a series of rollers toward the end of the 62-mile route last year, but they may have been noteworthy only because I was starting to feel a bit sapped by the heat.

I do know that the route will be a bit different from last year's, though.  When I picked up my packet, the nice lady took out a highlighter and marked the 100k route on the map, noting that "the bridge is fixed this year."  Last year's out and back route was apparently a detour, because this year's route has a loop at the back end.

Looks like the weather in Paris will be chance of rain up to 40 percent after 12:00 or later.

Everyone still going?

I just bought a Bachetta Carbon Aero.

Any comments?

The elevation profile gets lost after mile 37, due to the route crossing itself...but this is what they published for the 100K

I'll be there on a fixie....please wave as you pass me on the uphills Smiley
