Recumbent Catrike Questions
Mar 8th, 2023, 12:22pm

Any Catrike owners out there? Where might I look for a Trike maintenance tutorial so I can address future issues and make adjustments? Any recommended dealers in the Wylie/Plano area? How often should the trike be tuned up? I'm sure it may depend on usage, but what about time frame? Please comment.

The only routine maintenance I do on my trikes is lube the chains about every 250 miles. I check the chains periodically with a Park chain wear tool and replace them as necessary. Otherwise, I do maintenance only when problems start to arise (Example: fraying cable causing shifting problems). My source for maintenance info is YouTube. If you have mechanical ability, purchase a quality bike tool kit and do your own maintenance. Lots of how-to info on YouTube.

As Kenny J indicated above, Bicycle Evolution is a trike dealer located in Plano.
