I found this notice while poking around the City of Dallas website. This may be old news to some.

White Rock Lake Dam Maintenance
 
White Rock Lake dam maintenance starts December 2020. Portions of trails will be closed and users will be rerouted to open trails. Signs posted to indicate trail detours. Construction is expected to be completed summer 2022. See the trail detour map on dallasparks.org on the White Rock Lake webpage.

After reviewing the map, it appears to me that the detour WILL NOT affect the clown routes. So, no worries mate.
