Going to Northbrook HPV Race
Jul 11th, 2016, 6:08am

Going up the country, babe, don't you want to go? Going up the country, babe, don't you want to go?
I'm going someplace I have never been before, I'm going, I'm going, where the water tastes like wine!

Canned Heat-Woodstock 1969

I am not in very good shape for it, but I have to try! I have been puny for the past few days. My oxygen level, with treatments, has been in the 70% range. We're headed home to get the house ready to sell, and I am going on up to Chicago for at least one day of racing. I might be the only person out there with a bottle of oxygen!

I don't think Matthias has too much to worry about from me on the one hour record. http://www.recumbents.com/wrra/records.asp?MoreInfo=Yes&ID=98
Aurelien Booneteau went 35.226 last year, but did not supply the documentation, so it was not sanctioned. I will be lucky to hold 20 mph for an hour!

I sure will Greg. I wish you were up to it. Maybe next year we can even get Matt to go!

LOL, you're funny Jerry Smiley I just enjoy riding with friends and getting some good exercise. Racing is not really my cup o' tea.
