What pedals are you going to install on it? Want to be sure I have the correct cleats on my shoes when you let your fellow riders try it out on this year's first RBM recumbent ride.  Cheesy

speedplay lollypops ..   My knees can't take SPDs anymore as much as I prefer MTB shoes to road shoes.

I'll bring it for sure .. but I just ran a sub 2 minute dublin road (north-south strava segment ) at 38mph .. so I'm thinking its not RBM 'Rbent ride material - it does attract attention though ..

Looking forward to seeing it at the ride. You could have a lot of fun with it on Renner Rd. Maybe even get a speeding ticket on one of those downhills, heading towards the Starbucks rest stop.  Smiley

Haha true that ..  Given the number of law enforcement encounters that have been reported (and videoed on youtube)  from mango owners. I've already started thinking about making appointments with the training officers in the various municipalities around here.  The plan would be to drop by and let them take pictures and stuff with the hope to have them circulate a memo that says "bicycle" on it

Nice velo!  Have you tried Speedplay Frogs?  They are the MTB shoe Speedplay.

Yes. Unfortunately, I break them. Some combination of the texas sun, my absusive riding habits, or sheer bad luck cause me to go through several sets of them .. speedplay would always replace them but after 4 sets they suggested the lollypops as and I'm quoting now "Frogs are really meant for more casual riding"    Smiley    The lollypops with occasional lube have literally lasted over a decade on a couple of bikes.

Very nice ride!

There is no way however I'd want to see it up close and personal however...  I'm sure that the manufacture won't accept trade in kids or dogs..

How about a 2x4 tilting trike: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIijLujoA2c. Add a shell and bingo, you got a velo.  Cheesy
