Just wanted to let every one know about a ride that is being held for a matter near and dear to my heart -- raising money to pay for a cochlear implant for a 9 year old girl from Mexico. I know first had what an implant does by giving the deaf the ability to hear.
 
Unfortunately, the ride is PRICEY - $100. Add to that, it is held on a Friday. And further strike - it is August 15 - SHORT NOTICE. It is being held at the College Station Speedway - which to me would be a BLAST to ride. It would be so much fun to have our own "recumbent time trials", wouldn't it?
