This Saturday's RBM Recumbent Ride
Oct 23rd, 2013, 2:53pm

After my morning ride today, I stopped by RBM to talk to Joel about this Saturday’s Recumbent Ride.
He was at Michigan on work related stuff. The guy behind the counter (Jason?) said that there are no more recumbent rides for the rest of this year, and they will start up again early next year. We are welcome to join with the other DF riders for their Saturday ride.
Maybe we can put together some other ride instead? Around 20 miles is OK with me.

I looked at RBM's ride calendar about a week ago, and the recumbent ride was still listed. Just checked the calender, and found the ride has been deleted.

RBM's "Tour de Beginner" rolls at 10 to 14 mph average, but is only 13 miles. Their "Tour de Donut" is 20 miles, but its 14 + average might be too fast for some riders.

I'm going to have to wait and see if my left knee survives tomorrow's Clown ride, before I make any plans for the weekend.

Mark, I'm sure glad you let us know about the ride not happening.  Thanks.  Gas is rather precious these days, so if it remains fair, I may just do an Eastside Ride, either pre-recorded, or live from the start in Plano.
