Just wanted to let my friends know that the 2014 HOT registration is now open and no major kinks in the registration process! WHEW.
 
The skeletal web site is now open too. Hold your complaints, please. I am starting school in the spring to FINALLY learn how to do web sites. Until then, be patient with the bumps in the road!

I would like to strongly recommend reserving your room at the HOT hotel (Habitat Suites) NOW. They set aside 30 rooms for us, and as of the first day of registration (yesterday), 25 people are signed up for the HOT. If enough rooms are reserved NOW, they can add more to our block. But once it gets close, you are out of luck. BE SURE and CALL the Habitat to reserve your room -- the HOT rate is NOT good for internet reservations. Give the operator the code "HOT14" for a $75 a night rate for a one bedroom or a one bedroom with an additional sleeper sofa (same price, but BE SURE you tell them you want the sleeper sofa suite). You can always cancel your reservation to the HOT hotel up to a few days before the HOT, but again, once they are gone, you are out in the cold.  
 
The changes so far for the 2014 HOT: the new Recumbent University (Bent U). Three classes - Recumbent 101, Recumbent Technology, and Recumbent Performance. And at the HOT Rodeo this year, we are adding two TANDEM classes! Who knows what else I will think up!
