Drive In Bent Bash
Aug 29th, 2013, 10:54am

One of the things on my Bucket List is to get a group of recumbents and ride to a drive in movie theater. I was told there is a drive in in Ft. Worth near the Trinity Trail. Anybody know anything about this theater? Is it a "do-able" thing to try and get a group to ride there for a movie? I guess this would be for the trikers in the group, since we have a comfy seat to watch the movie from.

Can anyone offer some feedback on this?

Can't offer anything - but sounds cool.  Don't have a trike so I'll have to strap a lawn chair to the Corsa - or drag my kid trailer.

All I can picture is a high-end carbon stick bike with training wheels, so the rider can sit and watch the movie.

Yeah unfortunately. this idea loses appeal to two wheel riders Sad   Maybe those with extra trikes can lend theirs out for twofers who want to come along! I actually live in the Houston area, and there is a drive in in a small town very close, but I heard it is all GRAVEL.  Not fun. But i REALLY want to put a check by this on my Bicket Lost, so would be willing to drive five hours for a fun time!

I am WAY INTO THIS IDEA.  I've actually had a fantasy of getting an outdoor TV and setting it up on a neat clearing in the small wooded area near the pond down the street from me.  There is a small grill behind the audience.  Just a fantasy, but a guy can dream, right?

Anyway, i'd love to do this.  Especially on a Saturday, next choice on a Sunday, since I work.
