Explosive device found on Collin Classic route?

Yeah, what appeared to be a pipe bomb was found at the junction of CR 166 and CR168 up by Myers Park.  That was part of the route the Collin Classic ride covered yesterday...
Wow...glad whatever it was didn't go kaboom!
Thanks to CCSD and Plano PD for taking care of it.

Well after reading the articles again, I guess the device was found on last Monday, not the day of the ride as I had mistakenly assumed.
