Honestly I don't remember for sure. I know HHH had recumbents up front last year, and I think Tour de Paris did too. I guess I just assumed Shiner did too when you said "hook up at the start". Somehow I got "front" out of "start". But now that I think about it....I think Shiner was just a 'mass start' from a parking lot last year. No 'recumbents in front' rule. In any case, I am sure we won't be (at least I won't be) the fastest ones there so I'm not worried about it. I actually prefer to not start at the very front. I have noticed in these rides that if I start at the front, people pass me and that makes me feel like a slowpoke. If I start further back, even halfway back, I pass a lot of people, and that makes me feel fast.
