Arkansas Tour
Apr 11th, 2013, 9:06pm

Sweeper and I are planning a self-contained tour in southwest Arkansas. Leaving Ashdown on 4/28 and returning so anyone working can be back for work the following Monday. Staying in state and city parks. come and enjoy sleeping in your tent under the stars for 5 or 6 nights. Route may vary with mileage but it is an adventure.. Magnolia Ark is out final destination then return. Contact on forum or call me 972/278-8366 KEN  Smiley

Do you have any more firm plans then that?  By looking at a map Ashdown and Magnolia are only about 70 miles apart.  I want to do it - any idea how I can do it with no more then 3 days off during the week?  Maybe I should meet you at Magnolia, ride back to Ashdown and bribe someone to drive me back to my car?  Do I need anything more then sleeping gear?  How do I carry it all.....anyone got a line on a bike trailer I can borrow. If push came to shove - I guess I could use my kiddie trailer but a Burley or something similar may be easier to pull.

What am I missing?

I have a Nashbar 'burley' you can borrow.  In fact, Kathy wants me to sell it.

Thanks for the offer. I'll probably be taking you up on it.

Tony, Jim has the agenda, think he said miles were around 250+ miles and 5 or 6 days, will have a better idea next week. We will meet in Ashdown Saturday and spend the night at his brothers place and start the ride Sunday. more details will follow.

We're leaving in a few minutes for Fayetteville Arkansas to meet with some folks for a concert tonight.  Taking the trikes.  On a trailer.
