Saturday 4/6
Apr 4th, 2013, 8:38pm

What's everyone riding in the DFW area this Saturday?  Looking for something 40-60 miles at a decent pace (14-16 mph).  The GDB Airport ride will be my default choice but obviously I won't be able to keep up with the fast group.

Plano East Side is 40+ miles. John G, the ride leader, told me they were averaging about 14.6 mph.

I do like the East Side ride, I thought it was 35 miles or under, although I know it depends on who shows up.  If no one else claims the airport route I'll do the East Side instead.  Smiley   Thanks!

Silly me, I just saw the Tour Dallas post too.  I bet a bunch of folks will be doing that instead...  I did it last year but it's shorter and more crowded than I usually like.

I'm looking for the same thing. I might hit up the East Side ride as well. Getting over a cold so I'm not 100% sure yet.

I´m planning on riding Preston/Forest Saturday. See you there?

Alexis and I will be leaving between 10-11am from the trinity trail and going to Aledo and back.  48 miles.  I will be doing at least 1 extra loop to bring my personal total to around 80.  She'd love the company If you want to trip out west for some nice scenery.

Is that Trinity to Aledo route posted anywhere?  I'd like to ride that sometime.

No, but when I get home I'd be happy to upload my gps file and post a link to it for you.   I do it once a week pretty much, so also happy to ride it with you!

Please do, i'm on the north end of Fort Worth and would like to try this.  Its about 10 miles form my house to gateway park where I could pick up the trail.  I've never ridden any of the trail system, so this would be an interesting venture.

Decided to go solo from the house. Not quite over my cold yet. Need an escape plan in the event I can't make it all.

Here you go!  I live on the 183 end of the trail, so this is from my house to the gas station in Aledo where I often turn around.

I'm busy this weekend, but I'm not far from Gateway Park and would love to start up a group ride for us west siders.
