Byers is about 30 minutes NE of Wichita Falls.  2 1/2 hrs from Dallas.  I'm planning to go and do the 100k route which overlaps some of the HHH route (though in reverse).  If anyone from the Dallas area wants to share a ride and split the gas, let me know.  We can take your car or mine.  I should be able to haul just about any 2 wheel bent (low racer, high racer lwb).  Sorry, trikes need not apply (at least for my car).  Let me know!

Just mapped the 100k and it looks pretty flat.  RideWithGPS shows 1100 ft of climbing over the 100k route.  For comparison, the HHH 100k route has 1200 ft of climbing.  Should be very fast and fun!!!  
 
Jay - I think this might be your opportunity to do a ride up there without 14,000 of your closest friends.  Shouldn't be too hot either.

I'm all signed up.  Driving up to Wichita Falls Friday night with the 5 year old.  She will be hanging out with her Great Grandmother on Saturday while I am riding.  Should be lots of fun...... just like we do for HHH while the rest of you are sleeping on a gym floor.   Smiley
