Ride Ataxia Dallas Team Easy Street
Jan 23rd, 2013, 7:38am

Just heard from my friend Felicia DeRosario from Ride Ataxia. She told me she will set up a 10% discount for those registering to ride on Team Easy Street. I will post info when I get the final details.

Remember: register to ride on Team Easy Street and we are giving am Easy Street t shirt to those who get it done by March 1. Just holler at me and let me know your size.

Go to the Ride Ataxia Dallas site and under "Register" click "Find a Team",  Under donations goal or however they word it, you can enter "0" if you aren't into collecting donations.

People who register for Team Easy Street get a 10% discount when registering. Enter code EasySt13 . We have a GREAT team assembled. Riding all the different routes: 50, 25, and the 'hood ride (2 mile laps). GREAT time! When you go to register, there is an option to join a team and Team Easy Street is one of them. Then enter the code where it asks if you have one and get 10% off. Some of us are meeting at Outback Friday evening for packet pick up and to have dinner adn visit!

Rain rain go away!  Cold wet and miserable currently.  50 mile start has been delayed 30 minutes due to lightning.

I was wondering about that too. Wasn't sure if she was able to ride or if it was potenially a health issue for her to ride in poor weather. Anybody know?

The trike riders were staging in the parking lot, as I was heading for my van to leave for home at 9:30 AM. I looked for her, but didn't see her. Jane K was visiting with people in the parking lot, as I was leaving, so she probably knows whether or not Emily rode.

Justin, Emily, and Natalie finished the 25 mile ride. Kyle praised them for riding strong at the announcements after the ride.

While I was at the rest stop, I saw Justin pull in on his trike. Justin made it to the rest stop before the girls. He told me they were slower than him so he rode on ahead of them. Justin said he had about 200 miles on his trike since he recieved it.

I saw the girls riding with an escort of several other bike riders with about a half mile to go to the rest stop after I left the rest stop to return to Denton.  They did not give up on the ride because of the cold and wet weather.
