Post-Xmas Barbec's gift swap, Dec 27, 9AM - RSVP!

Since the Clowns regularly meet at Barbec's on Tuesday/Thursday, how about if we arrange and official "RBENT Post-Xmas Clown Ride and Gift Exchange" for Thursday Dec 27th? Meet at the regular time for breakfast -- Everybody would bring a "White Elephant" gift (perhaps something REALLY bad you got for Xmas), and we would do the typical "Nasty Santa" gift steal thing as people pick their present... followed by a ride, if the weather cooperates.

John S., do you suppose Barbec's could handle more RBENTers than usual that morning?

Bumping -- remember, Barbecs is CASH, no credit cards...

It looks like it's going to be FREEZING COLD that morning -- so I'm not anticipating doing a ride, at the moment... but BREAKFAST AND GIFT SWAP ARE DEFINITELY ON....

Let's get some RSVPs here, so we have SOME idea of how many seats to set up at Barbecs -- Please state if you're coming, in a post. If you're NOT coming, please don't post, just to avoid clutter...

Again, I hope to have the RBENT sample long sleeve jerseys with me (but I don't have them yet)

Remember, your gift can be a "re-gifting", or something cycling-related you don't use anymore (but in useful shape!), or a Starbucks card, a talking toilet paper roller, or WHATEVER -- Be Creative!

SIMPLE RULES FOR THE GIFT SWAP:

1) You must bring a gift, to play!

2) We will draw numbers for pick order

3) A gift may be stolen up to TWICE -- the SECOND TIME, the gift is LOCKED.

4) A stolen gift may be stolen back by the first stealer, if the opportunity presents itself!!! (i.e., 'takebacks' are allowed)

5) Picker #1 finally gets the opportunity to steal, after everyone else has gone.

6) HAVE FUN WITH IT!!!!!!!

Bring something useful, fun, or just plain goofy... but remember, Karma is a 'thingy'!!! Grin
