CCRBENT ride tomorrow Sunday Aug 19
Aug 18th, 2012, 10:19am

Anyone up for a ride tomorrow afternoon after church/lunch?  We could plan an easy pace or go for a challenge pace, or do both if we have enough.  This would probably include the Weston loop as usual, or we could plan another route.  The weather is supposed to be fantastic with highs in the upper 80's-lower 90's!!

What say you?

I'm also up for a ride today if I can avoid the predicted t-storms!

I know Dave wants to ride but he mentioned going out before church. I got gut-sick yesterday and am starting a course of 2 drugs to try to kill it off. Hoping I don't end up needing to go to hospital with this.

Okay, as I look at the latest report, looks like the greatest chance of rain is in the morning.  If so, I am up for a ride.  Where are you meeting?  I will be back from Dallas 1 p.m. -ish.  If you were going to take off early, do it, but I will be ride-ready when I arrive.

No particular planned route Key.  Just didn't want another lonely ride before HHH.  Probably sometime after church and lunch (1:30-2-ish) then maybe just tooling around for 30 or more miles.  Hoping to feel good for more.  Text or call and we can work the details.  Maybe you could ride the 2 wheeler so I could keep up!

Word to those that aren't in shape like myself: don't start P90X a week before a big ride...man my legs were sire for the first 8 miles this morning!

Looks like Key is doing the Duane Evans Memorial ride route again (http://ridewithgps.com/trips/799128) if anyone wants to join him.  I was over 17 miles before I even got to the NE corner of the ride, so I opted out.

Trying to ride today where I don't have to load the bike into the truck and drive some where to ride.  Will probably leave from my house in Melissa and take off somewhere to be determined.  If no one wants to ride out this way, I can make it down to the 75 & 380 area (within a couple of miles) or the downtown McKinney (town square) area and ride from there, and that should leave enough in the tank to make it back home as well.

If there are no takers, maybe I'll coerce Kim into getting on the Speed and doing a few miles!  If not I'm on my own for 30-50 miles.  Smiley

Ended up doing 5.6 with my youngest daughter.  Great ride and good Gatorade!  Also the slide at the park was fun.  How come you guys never want to stop by a park!?

We had family come in yesterday, I'm out of commission with a bout of nasty diverticulitis currently, and Dave was feeling a bit off kilter too.
