Sharon Stevens is hosting 104 k populaire (free ride) Saturday, Aug. 4, from Italy, TX.  There will also be 200 and 300 ks, so there should be a good crowd to start.  No membership is required for the 100.  Start time is 07:00.  Meeting point is next to the Tigermart at the first Italy exit from I-35.  The 100k goes to Abbott (Willie Nelson's home town) and back.  The roads are recumbent friendly, if a bit rough.  It should be warm and sunny, so bring plenty of iced drink and sunscreen.
 
I can take one rider and bike.  I'll leave from  mi casa about 5:45 to allow plenty of tome to get a breakfast burger and coffee on the way.  Italy is about 45 minutes from my place.  Come joins us for a good ride!  

If Dave is feeling ok Saturday, he will be doing the RBENT ride so he can talk to Steve and Peggy afterwards.
