Peach Pedal
Jul 9th, 2012, 1:50pm

Anyone planning on riding the Peach Pedal next weekend (7/14)?

I think my wife and son are doing the short ride on the trikes and I'm going for the 100k.

My church, Couts United Methodist, will be serving up some great peach ice cream too.  Please be sure to stop by their booth and grab a bowl or two.

Picked up my packet this evening and was told they have 1200 registered and are expecting 2000.  Do they stagger the start based on distance or this just a big free for all, sorry never rode anything like this before so just curious.

Yes, they will stagger the start.  Still can be somewhat of a free for all though.

Registration will take place in "The Outback," a separate building located to the east of the main building. The 100K starts at 7:30 a.m., the 39-mile starts at 7:45, and the 26-mile and 9-mile start together at 8:00.
