trike question for stationary brake
Jun 30th, 2012, 4:45pm

I have no idea what else to call it but the little button on the handlebars that you press down to lock the wheels so it does not roll...it does not press down.  Can anyone give me an idea what to do to fix it.  I am just starting to ride the trike again after 2nd hip surgery (very slow and for just a short distance).  It would help me to keep the trike still while I carefully get my leg up and over.
thanks

Susan, I don't know what is wrong with your button but, as a temporary fix, you can use a velcro strap or a large heavy-duty rubber band to hold that while you ride. If you don't have those items, a shoelace will tie it for you until you can have the button fixed.  Smiley
