Memorial day
May 27th, 2012, 1:42pm

Our pool club decided it couldn't open his weekend, and ruined the family plans.  Who's doing a ride Monday morning?

Doing a 30-40 mile casual ride in Mesquite.  Will probably be about a 13-14 mph avg.  One other rider is confirmed other than myself who knows if any other clowns may show.  Come on out if it sounds like something you want to do.  We are meeting at Mesquite Poteet HS at 8 am.

You can call me on my cell 214 707 6457 if you are running late.  If I don't know you are coming - you may be left if you arent there before 8.

Nope - that young man is feeling old I hear after riding two days in a row.  I am guessing he will be resting for the clown ride on Tuesday.

Rothgeb and I are hooking in, departing Poteet H.S. at 8AM. 35ish miles, doing the regular Mesquite route, probably rolling at 14-15 mph, with perhaps two speed groups developing. Probably finish time 11AM at the very latest.  There may be some GDB folks joining in.

Don't know if I can get up that early, but if I do I'll be there.  If I'm not there, go on.
