Saturday (5/12) Mesquite
May 9th, 2012, 10:20pm

Planning to do about a 50 miler starting at Mesquite Poteet H.S.  Rolling out at 7 am sharp.  Please be prepared for some hills and be able to keep a 15 mph avg as I need to be back around 11 am.  Let me know if you plan to come out so I can look out for you.  Route is here:  http://ridewithgps.com/routes/1161000

Hey Paul - you have any other Mesquite routes to share?  I had to go back to my GPS logs of riding with you and doing the Mesquite Rodeo rally to come up with this one.

If you continue down Seagoville Rd. into Seagoville, you can catch Malloy Bridge Rd. to the west, taking you to Ferris, and can ride northeast up to Lancaster.  I did this from Forney last month.  It's about 20 miles one-way from your turnoff point this Saturday.

You can also continue further southwest on Seagoville Rd down to Combine, take a left on 3039 to Crandall and continuing on 148 all the way to Terrell.  Nice route...  about 25 miles one way from that same point.
