I'm planning to be a "regular" on the Tuesday ride, and a semi-regular on the Thursday version.  This ride rolls out from the northwest corner parking lot in front of Poteet High School, following a lot of the Mesquite Rally route.  The current cutoff at Berry gives you 31 miles, and includes a few challenging climbs

I normally ride this at an ~18-19 rolling pace, and rarely attempt to keep up with the jackrabbits, who hammer off after the first downhill on Barnes Bridge.  However, if other 'bents happen to show up that want to go at a ~16 rolling pace, I'm fine with that -- we may cut off at Scyene for now instead of going down to Berry.  There is a 7-11 available at Mile 21 if a break is needed, otherwise, we do the whole route.  When there's more daylight, the ride continues south to Cartwright, adding about 4 more miles, with a break at a different 7-11.
 
C'mon out -- it's a nice, quiet route, with very little car traffic except for a couple spots.  I'll be out there tonight (Thurs 3/29) as well...
