Super Bowl Ride
Jan 28th, 2012, 10:02am

Does anyone plan on riding the Super Bowl Sunday Ride  February 5, 2012?

Its a free ride hosted by the Greater Dallas Bicyclists, doesn't mention anything about needing to be a member.  There are about a dozen starting points heading out to thingy's Last Resort with a few other dining spots optional.

We're considering giving it a go from Richardson Bike Mart in Richardson, so long as it doesn't snow.  Or rain.  And the temp is above 48°.

The map link is from the Plano Cycle club; I suspect the Richardson route will probably follow the same route with less miles.

If you're interested in this post a message.  We'll be riding about a 10-12 mph average.

You don't have to be a member of any particular club to join in...   If you go, take a cable/lock with you, for locking your bike up at Thingy's (or wherever) when you stop to eat lunch.
