Denton Turkey Roll
Nov 19th, 2011, 6:12pm

I did the 47 mile route at the Turkey Roll this morning, but it ended up being closer to 50 by my computer's calculations.  Man, that gusty wind out of the south on the way back was BRUTAL, as was the chip-seal on Sherman Dr..  No rain, Jay!  I rode part of the way with Joanne and Bob and caught up with John at the second rest stop.  Good times were had by all!  Smiley  I do like that ride, it has a special place in my heart since it was the first pay ride I ever did on my Musashi.  Awwwwww.

It was good meeting you all!  Was great seeing a bunch of other recumbent riders out there.

This was my first organized ride since the 04 MS150 and my longest, (65 miles) in 15 years or so.

It was a fun ride, (in spite of the wind).  I also found out my brain is still wired from my go faster days, my legs however are not.

Hope to see you all again out there on the road!
