RANS Rally in Hays, KS - Labor Day Weekend
Aug 8th, 2011, 7:39am

I think Terrie and I are going to go up to Hays again this Labor Day for the RANS rally...  We had a good time last year, with both easy local rides around town and tough riding out at Lake Wilson.  There will be more info about the activities schedule coming up on the RANS website "Into The Ride" column #102 ( http://www.ransbikes.com/Into_The_Ride_Articles-N.htm ) in another day or so, that will be on the page 2 list.

There were two or three Mennonnite families there, with their kids -- all three(?) women riders wore dresses and conservative garb.  Very nice folks...

That rider is "old school" representing the reason womens bikes were originally designed with the step through design. I feel for them on a fast downhill though  Grin, those hands are going to have double duty then.

I wish I could go, but my budget got blown on that whole "not-dead" party thing. Y'all have fun and tell them I said "Hi".
