It was on our 18 mile, Sunday morning, "Quality" Hill training ride. It red-lined me every time, but I always made it. Similar to some of the Leakey climbs; I've climbed them all on the P38.

People back up on that sucker, fall to the side, stop, etc. You need a good a good line going up and have to adjust fast because it is a short trip up.

Exactly. That's what happened to ARTCAT and me at RAGBRAI last year on a mile-long hill that bumped up to 19%. In my own time and pace I think I could have ridden it. With wall to wall people it was impossible.
