I got 6, 064 miles.  How many did you get?

5 grand on the xstream and 1 grand on the others.  I guess I'll be looking for a Jersey cow?

Well I had about 500 miles this year on Gigi, and I'm coming up on 1100 miles on Blue, so it looks like I'll get about 1700 miles mostly just running around Garland this year.

A measley 2000 miles.  Need to set some higher goals for next 2011.

I'm going fishing tomorrow, so I'm done riding this year. I ended up with 7,555 miles. In August at HHH, I passed the 15,000 mile overall mark on the Corsa, but for the first year since 2006, the Corsa wasn't my highest mileage bike of the year. Riding to work 172 times this year on the Stratus XP, I put 4,816 miles on it.
 
That, combined with more close to home fishing trips, and doing fewer bike rides that started from far away, allowed me to have the first year of my adult life where I rode more miles on bicycles than I drove motor vehicles.
 
I was definitely stronger this year. My mileage was barely more than last year, but I think that riding so many miles on a heavier commuting bike made a difference. Losing the extra ten pounds that I'd been dragging around for a year and a half had to help, too, and my exercise induced asthma was a lot better this year than it had been the last two. Putting the lung surgery another year behind me may have been the main thing that helped that.
 
I was still slower than most of my riding friends, but when they rode with me this year, I didn't feel like I was slowing them down as much as last year.

1,994 miles this year (1,908 on the Corsa with the balance on my wedgie before getting the bent).  I sure have wimped out in the last few months of the year - been too busy, lazy, unmotivated....etc.  On the plus side, I have been increasing my mileage since I started riding. 2007:  601, 2008:  1050, 2009: 1500, 2010:  1994, 2011:  ??
 
This has been the best year yet in many ways!  Mileage is up, got my first bent and will never go back, completed my first century, met some awesome riding partners on here and best of all had a baby boy this summer!  I guess that might explain the lack of time to ride sometimes - but I wouldn't trade him for anything.
