Trinty Bicycles Sunday Trek
Nov 11th, 2010, 9:12am

Trinity Bicycles has decided to do some Sunday rides from their shops for longer distances than their normal.  Starts at their shop at 9am Sunday morning and rolls quickly through the Trinity Trail and then lake forks park.  A quick jaunt to Aledo and around for approximately 70 miles and back.  So an out and back with a loop in the middle.

I rode with them last week and it was a fairly casual 15mph pace or less. No drops - you won't even get out of the group's mirror.   I started from my apartment which cut the total distance to 55 miles, and you'd be welcome to do that with me if you chose.

Trinity is *THE* bike shop in the west metroplex as far as I'm concerned, now that City Cyclist is gone.  Not much in the way of pure stock, but extremely supportive of bents and commuters.  A little slower paced than you might be used to, but great guys.  Their location:

Trinity Bicycles
207 South Main Street
Fort Worth, TX 76104

The route:

Oh, one last thing:  their route does go over bear creek road, which is crushed gravel, but I split off from them and ride backwards along the loop until I catch them and hook back on to the group.

I'm in it to Schwinn it.
