It rides like a dream. I heard a guy who was on a trike talking to a speed racer biker at the Waxahachie ride and he described it like this "
at the end of the ride you are tired, sore, and hurting, while I am just tired." That is exactly right. I rode the HHH this year and I was only tired at the end of the ride. The last 2 years I have been WIPED-OUT, my butt was hurting, my back & neck was killing me, and I could hardly walk. This year I actually finished and thought to myself that I could have went a longer distance.
I suggest you try some before you buy one. I went to CityCyclist in Fort Worth and spend about an hour with Mike (the owner) talking with him about what I wanted. I went home and went on line to ICE and built the trike. I took the sheet back to Mike and he and I went over everything I had selected and he made some recommendations, which I went with, and then he ordered the trike. 2 weeks later the trike came in and he allowed me to assist in building it in the shop. Took all afternoon but I am really glad I was there, because I learned ALOT!!!!
Can't say enough good thinks about CityCyclist....
I really, really enjoy riding again...
