For the moment, I'm assuming the new RBENT jerseys will arrive in early September...  Since there are almost 40 people getting them, it makes sense to organize some group rides for people to attend, no?  So, the weekend of the 11th looks like a reasonable choice.  Come on out to either or both -- there will be two distance options for each ride, and we'll grab something to eat after both.  We'll plan 8AM rollouts, since it may still be kinda warm, so plan to arrive by 7:30ish to have time to get your jersey and be ready to ride.
 
Monday Sept 6 -- Never mind, jerseys not here yet
 
Saturday 9/11 -- cancelled
 
Sunday 9/12 -- in re-development
 
Route maps and more info to come....   Bring a friend, whether they're getting a jersey or not!

I can make either day.

There's a chance that the jerseys will arrive that first week of September -- I'll be going to the RANS Rally over Friday-Sunday of Labor Day Weekend, but since Monday is the holiday as such, let's arrange a ride that morning for those who can make it.
 
Meeting place:  Tee Pee Hill parking lot, 8AM rollout.
 
Route:  We'll ride out St. Francis to I-30, taking the Hwy 80 service road out into Mesquite, and back.
 
Pace:  Casual cruise, keeping everybody together.
 
Distance:  ~30 miles.

OK, the jerseys are supposed to ship by the end of this week, so I should have them late next week...  Therefore I'm going to kill the TPHill ride on the 6th, and I can't do any riding on Saturday the 11th due to other conflicts, including going to FtW for a TCU football game...
 
Sooo...  I'll figure out some ride to organize for Sunday the 12th, as a starting point for jersey distribution, and I'll hit the Clown breakfast that next Tuesday, as well.

Jerseys should arrive today...  they're listed as "out for delivery" on TNT's website.
 
With church stuff happening in the morning, and the Cowboy game (if you care) happening in the evening, let's set up a casual ride for a 4PM rollout Sunday afternoon.  Plan to meet at Big Buck's Steakhouse parking lot (121 north of DFW) around 3:30 to get and try on your jerseys.  We'll ride down Texan Trail down to the airport, and loop the airport -- let's keep everybody together at a casual pace for the first part, until we get to the Tower Loop split -- then faster folks can take off for that extra ~3 mile section, and catch the casual group further on up the road -- regrouping everyone at the Observation Area on the north end for the ride back up to Big Buck's.

Yes, where Bass Pro is...  The ride total mileage is 21-22 miles without the tower loop -- it's about three miles down to the airport, then 15 around it, then back.  C'mon out, it's a nice route!!!
