GDB Airport Ride double loop, Sat Jul 31

This Saturday I'm planning to do the regular GDB Airport Ride, departing Preston/Forest at 8AM -- but will be doing two laps of the airport itself, for roughly 75+ miles total, getting back around 1-1:30PM. Anticipated rolling speed ~18ish, if anyone would like to join me... Of course, you can always come out for either the regular single loop 60 miler, or the out-and-back 40 mile version, as well!

9:00 or shortly thereafter arrival at the Shell Station at 114... There probably won't be very many people doing the Airport Ride that morning, with Gerry Cole's service being at 10AM... however, I'm going to pay my respects at the viewing tomorrow...

Wish I weren't having to work in Louisiana this weekend with you coming over to my neck of the woods. Would like to finally meet some of you fine folks!

Got there about 9:10, and found the Plano gang at the 114 Shell -- didn't know they rode out there, but not surprising. The GDB group apparently goes up to the Royal and 635 Shell station now instead, for a first rest stop. Sorry to miss you if you were there, Robert, but I didn't see any 'bents in the Plano crowd...
