Saturday Mesquite to Seagoville
Jun 25th, 2010, 10:38am

There's a GDB group of a dozen or so that's planning to get in about 50+ miles Saturday morning, riding from Mesquite Poteet down to Seagoville and back, departing Poteet at 7:30AM sharp, planning to return at 11:30-12:00.  Two rest stops are planned, probable rolling pace 16-18mph with an occasional faster section, but with "no drop" intent.

Tony and I are riding to the start from Rowlett, to make it a 100K day.  If the group speeds up, I'll hang back for "no drop" purposes.  There's a bit of climbing involved through south Mesquite, but not too bad.  Anyone else wishing to join us, meet at the northwest corner of the Poteet parking lot.

Call me if you like, 214 923 9551

Paul

Let's just say I'd LIKE to finish with an overall average of 15-16mph...

Thomas, my apologies, but there is some reasonable stiff hill climbing out through south Mesquite, and I honestly don't think you would be able to keep up through that region.  I may be wrong, but I always try to advertise what I think the ride paces will be -- but c'mon out if you want to hit it!  You're obviously able to do the mileage, given what you ride regularly...

Here's the route, to a reasonable approximation...
