For those who have ridden my Spanish Fort 200k Permanent, it was recently approved by RUSA as a Brevet and added to the calendar for this Saturday.  Here's the post from the LSR forum:

Come ride the Spanish Fort route next Saturday at 7:00am, April 10  
Bolivar 207k Hosted by Angie and Ray Torrey ,Steve and I to honor our  
friend, Gerry who has MS. This is to be a MS ride LSR style.  
 
Bolivar 207 k is the old, but loved Spanish Fort permanent. Ray has  
gone to efforts of making this a brevet. This is a way for all of LSR to  
come together and ride one of the best 200k routes and help a cause close  
to our hearts. We will be offering a lunch stop at the old Spanish  
Fort high school. We are going to do this lunch up Sharron Stevens  
style.  
 
 
Good food, game and music in lieu of a sag fee, we would ask that you  
make a free well offering to the MS Society(if you would like you can  
write a check ,that way you have a record for your taxes).We hope that  
Gerry will be able to be at the start to see you all off. Gerry is an  
amazing lady. In addition to MS, she is a multiple cancer survivor.  
 
 
If you are planing on riding we us please email us of that we know how  
much food to prepare.
