Selling My Ti Aero
Apr 3rd, 2010, 12:23pm

Just putting out feelers. Need to thin out the heard.  I haven't ridden the Ti Aero in a while.  In order of miles ridden the past year:

Rans Xstream
Fisher 29er MTB
custom Trinity 650B diamond frame
Prijon 17' Kodiak sea kayak
Bacchetta Ti Aero

Late last year I had my LBS put on all new cables, a new rear brake, new rear D' (XT Shadow), new 11-34 casette, etc. Not idea the asking price.  If anyone is interested, drop me a PM and make an offer.

Anyone who knows the Ti Aero knows Bacchetta quit making it, and when they go up for sale, they don't last long.

You would put this up when I just spent a bunch of money repairing my van, and have nothing in the bike fund!   Wink

I'm sure Ray will hang onto it for you if you ask him nicely Smiley.

I'd have jumped on it myself except that the xstream performed so amazingly well on yesterday's 400k that I can't see the ti aero being a smoother ride.  Which is really all I'm after - the smoothest chipseal defeater I can get.  Now 400ks are actually possible!

too many nice bikes, not enough money!  I'm just kidding Ray, I'm in no position to get anymore bikes for awhile, and he needs to get what its worth.  Should fetch good money.  Besides with 4+ of us now on Xstreams (I've lost count) that may be where I go next!  I'm sure that unlike the trinity, he'll have some takers, especially from Bentrider Online, or Bacchetta Forum classifieds.

Take Care,
Nelson.

Funny enough I am taking my x-stream to Florida and my Vrex.  I am trying to decide if I am keeping the x-stream or not.  For my city route riding the V-Rex is a much better bike.  You might see my x-stream up for sale before summers end.

John - are you referring to my Aero or Rod's bike?

I'm going to look at some BROL, Bacchetta, etc., posts to gage an average selling price.  I tend to sell things far less than they're worth.

John (or anyone) - If you decide to pursue buying my Ti Aero, you could talk to my LBS, Bicycles Plus in Flower Mound.  Talk to the Manager, Adam.  He's done lots of upgrades and taken care of the bike (new cables, rear brake, inspected and cleaned the BB, new rear derailleur, etc).

I lost a few inches in a bicycle accident years ago.
My CA2.0 is a large. the Giro was a medium and it was too small.

well, come to think of it, I was right on the border anyway and I have a long torso, so it's more than possible.  Been a while and I'd forgotten.
