Warm Feets
Dec 16th, 2009, 9:58pm

My toes were getting cold below 30 and pretty frozen when it got close to 20 degrees one morning.  I can't comfortably put thick socks in my shoes so the wifey made me something to cover the tops of my shoes where the cold was getting in.  Turned out to work great!  Thought I'd share for anyone industrious or just curious.  The "string" is actually elastic cord so it pulls tight around the shoe.  The material is fleece.  Cheap and easy!

Thanks John.  In eight years of marriage, this is the first thing my wife has made for me.  Well, not counting the 75 lb. knit sweater with two different length arms. Smiley So I'll pass on your encouragement!
