The 1st ever Black Eye Pea Ride will be held in Texarkana on 01/01/10.  This New Year's Day ride is designed for all riders.  
 
The ride will be held at Grady T. Wallace Park and will consist of 3 loop routes (2 mi, 7 mi, and 9.5 mi).  Riders can ride any loop or combination of loops.  Ride as many or few miles as they want.  The course will be open from 10 AM to 1 PM.
 
There will be a poker ride going on for anyone wanting to participate.  And there will be black eyed peas, cabbage, cornbread, and other goodies at the rest stop.
 
This will be a great way to start off the year.  It will also be a great way to get riders of all skill levels- from beginner to CAT racer- together to share the joy of pedaling a bike.
