It's just an honor to ride & to be mentioned with incredible cyclists who share the same passion for ultra distance cycling. That goes from those who occasionally participate in randonneuring events to those who live on the bicycle. Congratulations to all. All are incredible cyclists and better friends to Peggy & I.
Thank you for all the advice & encouragement.

It says a lot that the LSR group has "R'bent" awards. This would not be possible without the efforts of Bud, Nelson, Ray, Greg, Bryan, Shellene who have paved the way for recumbents to be so highly accepted within the LSR group(Bryan says that LSR should stand for Lone Star Recumbent's). Bryan, Shellene & Steve Barlow have made an amazing transition to  receumbent's in a a very short period of time. Great things to come from these riders in 2010.

I'm most proud of the current friendships that Peggy & I have had the pleasure to be part of & new friendships have developed(& more friendships to come we hope) .

Thanks to Bud for riding with us fools who chase awards in all kinds of weather conditions. The work that goes on with the forum should not go unnoticed. This forum is the best.

Finally, thanks to Peggy for putting up with me on all these K's. That feat deserves it's own medal.

Absolutely!  It's been tremendous seeing Steve and Peggy climb up the ranks - literally and figuratively.  And Bryan beating JS at the Time Trials, well, that's the stuff of legend, right there!  And of course we can't forget Steve Barlow who worked so hard and went so far.

Nor can we forget Ray and Nelson who work so hard on permanents and brevets.

And Last, but not least, Bud, who gives us a home and pleaces to ride as well and, I think, having his best mileage year yet in spite of the rough weather it's been this year.

You guys have gotta realize that doing what you do puts you well into the top 1% of cycling athletes.  Just awesome.  Keep on truckin, as the poster says.

And let this be a lesson to all of us - because if they can do it, we can too!
