Rider down
Nov 24th, 2009, 1:53am

This came in this afternoon, a local rider took a header (not riding a recumbent) Smiley and suffered some facial damages and some spinal damage. He's the chair of the Endowment Committee for NTAUUS (pronounced Not-us) and could stand some positive energy sent his way. If you ride with Jim Suiter out in Bedford then he could use some cheering up. Tell him the crippled guy that was hit riding a bicycle sent you, I'm sure that will make him feel better Smiley Smiley

Seriously, send prayers if that's your thing, and if you know the guy bring the family a casserole in a recyclable pan that doesn't need to be returned. From personal experience fixing dinner and eating nutritious foods is not near the top of the family's to-do list right at the moment. When I got hit my family practically starved to death until I got home because the family cook was spending as much time with me as she could manage with her work schedule.

I ride my bike to ride my bike, and sometimes it takes me where I need to go.
