What do most of you use for a work stand? I need something that can be folded away or adapted to the clamp of most stands used for DF's.

How much money are you talking about spending? Mine folds up into my garage ceiling. I made it using Park's Extreme Range Clamp and a rather old matching Wall Mount

bolted to a swing-down assy of wood. Not cheap but really sturdy and fabulous for working on bents. The Extreme Range clamp fits the better Park stands.

Harbor Freight has one that will hold a 'bent:

I took their holder assembly, added a PVC cross bar so I can mount it to a standard work stand.
The only problem with this is that the bike is high in the air (and I don't feel like cutting the work stand to make it shorter (I still work on DFs as well.)
I think PCF now has this Park Tool stand for 'bents:
