. "However my mom has been dealing with a guy in Arlington that is a recumbent fanatic and is outstanding customer service. I can not think of his name but long haired woodstock type that works at the place on Green Oaks just south of 20. I was shocked because it is a chain store and I never would have thought they would have Rans bikes. He was funny as heck and all he used to get around town was a recumbent bike. Doesnt even own a car."

The guy's name is Robert and he works at Bicycles, Inc. They have a pretty good selection of intro  level recumbents, and amazing service. They are A-1 in my book.

Went to RBM, Richardson, this morning to register for "Autumn in Bonham". Found no recumbents in their usual location. Was directed to the Clothing Department. No respect for recumbents, whatsoever.  Smiley They had 5 cheap recumbent bikes, 2 cheap trikes and 4 Catrikes on the floor. Patti, they have a fluorescent red Catrike "Dash" sitting there waiting for you to come and purchase for your son.  Wink

Ooohhh! I would if I could afford it. He would love one of those, especially with a triple ring added up front. I may end up having to buy one of those cheap recumbent bikes and let him have my Road.  Smiley

Yes, I saw the same thing yesterday, and forgot to mention it..  they've moved most of the 'bents and trikes into a corner of the clothing store...   Kinda reminds me of the "Island of Misfit Toys"...   Smiley
