Riding With Mink

Rode White Rock yesterday and was surprised to have a mink jump out of the bushes and run alongside my trike for about 5 yards before he dove off the trail and back into the reeds. I don't know what surprised me more, seeing a mink pacing a trike or seeing such a fashion faux pas: everyone knows that mink is strictly "after 5" and never appropriate between Easter and Labor Day... Smiley

jayg Five Star Member rbent member Posts: 4133	Re: Riding With Mink Reply #3 - Aug 27^th, 2009, 3:35pm Saw a mink trying to take down a much larger jackrabbit on the White Rock Trail a couple of months ago. At first, I thought the jackrabbit was wrestling with a squirrel. When I backed up to get a better look, they broke apart and ran in different directions. Never thought I would see a mink in our area.
