Riding With Mink

Rode White Rock yesterday and was surprised to have a mink jump out of the bushes and run alongside my trike for about 5 yards before he dove off the trail and back into the reeds. I don't know what surprised me more, seeing a mink pacing a trike or seeing such a fashion faux pas: everyone knows that mink is strictly "after 5" and never appropriate between Easter and Labor Day...  Smiley

Not to mention that you never see mink in DFW until it's below 60 at least according to my wife.

Saw a mink trying to take down a much larger jackrabbit on the White Rock Trail a couple of months ago. At first, I thought the jackrabbit was wrestling with a squirrel. When I backed up to get a better look, they broke apart and ran in different directions. Never thought I would see a mink in our area.
