Can anybody tell me anything about the Rans V2. It was an le but converted to a dual 26" wheels. Is it a good strong good bike.

I hear that V2 is reasonably well thought of -- I suppose it's like a StratusLE with a higher pedaling position.  They came out with the V26 three years ago, putting a 26" front wheel on the V2, but then pulled that model the very next year, replacing it with the V3.
 
Is this a V26 you're talking about, or a V2 with a different front fork?  Locally, Barry in the midcities has a V26...
 
Additionally, RANS has a bunch of V26 frames in their warehouse, gathering dust for the time being.  If you're interested, Randy might sell you one, cheap...
