Ride across Utah -- LAGBRAU in Sept.
Aug 17th, 2009, 10:38am

I'm passing this along at the request of the LAGBRAU organizers:

LAGBRAU Full Fall Option (10-day):
September 10-19

LAGBRAU (7-day): September 13-19

LAGBRAU Lite (3-day): September 10-12

Dear Bicycle Club Leaders,

Please pass this message on to your club members, which includes info of a big discount, if you deem it worthy of their knowledge as something they and their friends could benefit from. If you are no longer a current leader of your club, send us the email addresses of the new leaders and we will update our database. The LAGBRAU (Legacy Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Utah) deemed by many as "the worlds most scenic bicycle ride" is a non-profit charity ride to raise money for youth. The Boy Scouts of America will be the primary beneficiary. As you go through the registration process, you will see how the Boy Scouts in your area can benefit. The Utah National Parks Council of the Boy Scouts, one of the largest in the nation in terms of area and the number of Boy Scouts, have become partners of the LAGBRAU, they bring a lot to the table to make the LAGBRAU a great success story.

Over the past five years, the LAGBRAU has overcome unusual logistical challenges and made changes and improvements to bring to you in 2009 one of the best bicycle vacations in the U.S. and the world. New additional options this year include a 'Canyon by Night' boat tour up the Colorado River, a river raft ride down the Green river through Desolation Canyon and a mountain bike option in Moab, "the mountain bike capitol of the world". In order to help us get the word out about this fundraiser this year leading up to the Boy Scouts Centennial Celebration next year, The LAGBRAU is offering this year a discount of $100, or $150 each for two, or $200 each for 3 or more, if you are able to come for September 10th or 13th options with less than a month to plan you can now register on-line through the Boy Scouts system for any and all of the options at no extra on-line registration costs. If you cannot make it this year, we hope you can join us next year.
