That's an interesting study, though. Their results suggest that nitrate rich food like beet juice can lower the amount of oxygen needed during exercise. That might be a big help to a lung-challenged old f*rt like myself.

My wife is Russian and she's always pushing me to eat beets! I tried to juice them once and let me tell ya, it takes a LOT to cover up the taste of a beet! Not to mention having to clean up the very strong dye you make in the process. Having said that, Montel says an orange in his 'emulsifier' will cover up anything. Tongue

And if you can't believe an infomercial, then what's the world coming to? Smiley
