How many people out there have a Ventisit Seat Pad  and how do you like it?

I tried one once. It's basically a slab of concrete, but lighter.

It is certainly hard but it is very well vented. Even on the hottest days my back doesn't overheat, I do get very broiled though.

It is sort of like laying on a really hard metal mesh as even the comfort doesn't have much give. It was ok on my euromesh because the euromesh would give and on my hurricane it isn't bad because of the rear suspension.

Seat Pads like saddles seem to be pretty personal choices.   I like the ventesit, and its well nigh indestructable (like The Tick, SPOON!)
However I know several people who have definitely NOT liked them.

Take Care,
Nelson.

I have one on the show bike from 2004 and as long as the seat is laid back so that I'm not sitting on the pad I found it to be very comfortable and non-sweaty on the HPVelotech hardshell seat of the show bike.

I ride my bike to ride my bike, and sometimes it takes me where I need to go.

I have one on my Strada.  I am ordering one for the X-Stream.  I like it because
1) It does not give me a wedgie.  The stock pad does not allow me to wear baggie shorts without them riding up..
2) Less chafing.
3) Generally more comfortable.
