A few of the Clowns are looking at doing the Katy Trail in Missouri this fall. We will be leaving here on Sept. 25 and returning on Oct. 3. The trail is a rail to trail path from Clinton, Mo. to St.Charles, Mo. (225 miles). The trail is crushed limestone. Good puncture proection and durability type tires would be a must. We will be doing low milage days (30-45 miles per day). We will be using trailers or panniers to haul our gear. We will be tent camping each night at parks or B&b's along the trail, there will be showers and restrooms at all but one stop. There are places to eat in the small towns we go thru. I have located a shuttle that will use back to Clinton when we get to St.Charles.  
I am estimating the cost to be about $300.00 per person.  Gas to and from + motel(1 night) + B&B(1 night) + camp sites(4 nights) + shuttle service + food you eat and drink
