bring the corsa and give goatstick a call - he'll hook you up with some equally flat routes.
Yeah! We usually launch around 7am weekends to miss most of the August heat. Ride until 10 or so. Love to have more highracers along. Not sure about the routes though. We usually decide just before we launch.
Usually meet in Helotes or the I10/Loop1604 parknride nw of S.A.

It's just a fun ride, anyway. I won't be among those racing in September, either.

Yes, Thomas, come on out, by all means...  Something tells me there will be some regrouping after the harder climbs!!!

Shellene and I will be there, we are planning to start a loop at 6:30, hopefully we'll be back to the start be 8 AM.  If we aren't there by 8, don't wait on us, we'll do our best to catch up.

I will be there Saturday and will be the token recumbent rider (P-38) from Glen Rose.  I am also the oldest and slowest cyclist in town. Looking forward to meeting you guys.

There may be several DF riders to ride the course since they usually start their Saturday ride from Stumblaster Bicycles at 7:30.  It is amazing to have such a great bike shop that has quality equipment in a town with a population of 2,500.  Joe and Lisa Hill are the owners and they lead a ride everyday before the shop opens.

Next door to the bike shop downtown (we go right by it near the end of the loop) is Storiebook Cafe and Book Store that is a great lunch place.  We also have Riverhouse Grill near downtown and Three Rivers Grill and Bar--right in front of the Comfort Inn which is immediately across Highway 67 from the starting area.

I understand from the maintenance guys that the restrooms at the starting area will be unlocked by 6:30-7:00 am.

Thomas , no "eye test" cue sheets. The font is large. The entire cue sheet fits on one full page.
