OK is OK "short version" this Friday
Jun 3rd, 2009, 9:02pm

My plans for riding with my brotherinlaw on Thursday have changed to Friday instead, and we're going to do a shortened version of the OK is OK permanent, cutting off the section that goes up into Oklahoma.  We don't have time enough to do the whole 200+K at the 16-17 pace planned...   Roll Eyes   Forecast is for a clear day with south-southeast mild winds.   I think we'll depart the Motel 6 at 7AM sharp or as close to it as possible, planning to be finished by 2PM.   Any other takers welcome!

No one lane bridge? That & riding OK-78 east(good road) are my favorite parts of the route. Although ,that 19+ mile section of US 69 into Celste is also nice(especially with a south wind).  Enjoy & be safe.
